# Artificial Outreach works with Apollo

Apollo finds the people. Artificial Outreach checks every claim, writes from evidence, and sends from your own mailbox. On the Growth and Scale plans you can bring your own Apollo API key, so the two work as one pipeline.

## How it works

1. **Connect your Apollo key.** Add your Apollo API key in Settings (Growth and Scale plans).
2. **Apollo finds the people.** Artificial Outreach uses your key to search Apollo for companies and people that match your ideal customer, and to reveal addresses when you pick someone.
3. **Artificial Outreach does the rest.** It checks what it says about each company against evidence, writes one message per person, and sends from your own Gmail or Outlook. The first message to anyone waits for your approval; follow-ups run on their own; a reply stops the sequence.

## Setup: bring your own key

- Available on Growth and Scale. Starter uses Artificial Outreach’s data credits only.
- Apollo usage made with your key counts against your Apollo account and plan, under Apollo’s terms.
- Remove the key any time in Settings.

**Do I need Apollo to use Artificial Outreach?** No. It finds people on its own and uses data credits. Apollo is optional on Growth and Scale.

**Which Apollo plan do I need?** Whichever gives your key API access; see Apollo’s pricing page for current plans.

**Does Artificial Outreach send through Apollo?** No. Messages go from your own mailbox.

**Will my Apollo credits be used?** Yes, when Artificial Outreach searches or reveals with your key.
