Inputs, all the visitor's own numbers: - Quote requests per week - Share that arrive after hours or at weekends (starts at 30%, your estimate) - How fast you usually reply to those (next morning, same evening, next working day) - Of requests you answer fast, how many become a job (%) - Of the after-hours ones, how many you think you lose by replying late (starts at 25%, your estimate) - Average job value ($) ## Why replies after hours go cold - **They asked others too.** A homeowner with a leak writes to several contractors the same evening. The first useful reply often gets the visit. - **The moment passes.** By the next morning they have moved on to work, family, or the contractor who already wrote back. - **A reply is not a booking.** "Thanks, we'll be in touch" still leaves them to chase you.
